About this campground
Seongjubong Natural Recreation Forest is located in Euncheok-myeon, Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is approximately 26km from Sangju City Hall, and can be reached by car via Cheonbongseo-ro, Usan-ro, and Seongju-ro, taking about 40 minutes. This place is situated in a deep forest and valley, allowing for nature-friendly camping. The campground has 81 deck-based campsites. The site sizes and numbers are 46 sites of 3.5m x 3.5m and 35 sites of 2.5m x 3m. Unfortunately, fire pits and electricity are not available. Personal trailers and caravans are also not allowed. The campground operates only in summer, and reservations are accepted online in real-time.

In addition, a separate parking fee of 3,000 won must be paid in addition to the camping fee. Dogs are not allowed regardless of size. There are many tourist attractions nearby the campground, such as Ssangyong Valley, Sangju Cheonggyesa Temple, and Sangju Hwangnyeongsa Temple, making it easy to combine with sightseeing. Minji Trout Farm, a restaurant famous for its trout dishes, is also nearby.
