The site is a peaceful site set within 5 acres of land that encircles Saxdale House Farm\. Situated only minutes by car from the charming village of Hunmanby and the glorious beach at Hunmanby Gap\. It is only three miles to Filey and nine miles to both Bridlington & Scarborough, you can enjoy the activity of the coast and then return to the peace of the camp site and enjoy your evening with a BBQ\. Our selves and our Wardens aim to provide our customers with a friendly, helpful service\. This is a quiet site, kept to a high standard of cleanliness and constantly maintained\. CCTV is in operation around the entrance together with a gate which is locked at night for security, signs are in place for 5MPH for children's safety\. The surrounding countryside offers visitors numerous places of interest for all the family: \- Birdwatching \- at Bempton, Flamborough and Ravenscar\. Walking \- on coastal footpaths, the rolling chalklands of the Wolds, the North York Moors National Park, the Dalby Forest, the Cleveland Way, Lyke Wake Walk and Wolds Way to name a few\. Cycling \- Saxdale House Farm stands on one of the several designated cycle ways within the area\. Also visit the many cycle tracks within the Dalby Forest\. Golf\- the village has its own 9\-hole golf course literally 2 minutes from the farm\. All pitches have 16 amp electric hook\-ups and ample space is allocated to each\. There is plenty of room on the pitch for awnings \(although electric/gas fires are not allowed in awnings as it destroys the grass\)\. Elsan disposal and drinking water points are close by as well as refurbished shower/toilet block and site shop\. \(Please click on facilities page for further details\)\. Children and dogs are welcome\. Dogs must be on a lead at all times whilst on site although there is an area of land off\-site where dogs can be exercised off their lead\.
