Rushmere Campsite is a small family run farm site, occupying approximately 3 acres of the farm\. The farm is situated between the A4136 \(main arterial road to The Forest of Dean\) and the B4228 \(Grid reference 5611\), half a mile west of Coleford with all local facilities\.The farm is a family site on the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme list\. Although we welcome groups of young people we expect everyone to abide by the campsite rules\.Upon Arrival to the CampsiteReception is at the main house at the end of the drive\. Ring on the door bell for a member of the family\. If no\-one is immediately available, please find a pitch and see us later\. \.The farm is approached off a side road which joins the two main roads\. Access is easy for the largest vehicles\. The drive is tarmac, leading right up to the campsite and cars can be parked adjacent to your tent or caravan\. There is plenty of room to spare\.All Campers are restricted to the camping field unless other permission has been given\. This is a farm with horses and machinery and care should be taken at all times\.There are 7 showers and 7 toilets divided between ladies and gents \(one toilet and shower with disabled facilities\)\. We try to keep them clean at all times and have received compliments about our new shower block\. Paper towels, hand wash, toilet paper and bins are provided\. Before Wye Bridge turn at Lidls onto A4136 and follow 'from Monmouth' down arrowAlternatively \- As you come up the hill from the Severn Bridge, Turn right at the roundabout onto A48 and travel to Lydney town centre and turn left opposite Tescos onto the B4231\. At Trow Green turn right at the T junction onto the B4228 to Coleford\. Through 2 sets of traffic lights and follow Monmouth road for Half a mile to Crossways\. Turn right and then immediately left up our driveway\. \.\.\.and then from MonmouthOver the River Wye Bridge, bear left onto A4136\. Half a mile past Staunton turn right at Robin Hood Junction traffic lights\.Half a mile to the Crossways, turn left at crossroads and left into Rushmere Farm driveway\.From London and the EastspacerFrom London leave the M4 at J15 onto the A419 \(becomes A417\) northwards to Gloucester\.\.\.\.down arrowFrom North London and OxfordTravel west on A40 and A436 to Gloucester\. Follow the Gloucester ring road A40 Ross\-on\-Wye signs\.\.\.\.\. down arrow\.\.\.and then from Gloucester8 Miles from Gloucester at Huntley village turn left at second set of traffic lights into Forest of Dean \(monmouth Sign\) onto the A4136 \. Follow this road for about 10 miles\.Ignore first left hand fork for Coleford\.The next crossroads has five acres Nissan garage on left\. Proceed straight over next crossroads \(where a new block of flats has replaced the Pike House pub on right\)\. 200 yards then turn left off A4136 \(Rushmere Farm sign in hedge\) 300 yards, turn right up the driveway\.
