Overview We look forward to welcoming you to our new certificated site on the edge of the small hamlet of Netherton in Northumberland, a few miles from Rothbury, Thropton, Alwinton and Harbottle all with pubs offering fantastic food, to eat in or take away\. The site is next to an SSSI and is only 3 miles from the Northumberland National Park and offers a great base for exploring, close by we have Cragside, Wallington, Brinkburn, the Coquet and Breamish Valleys with the Northumberland Coast just over 20 miles away with beaches and castles\. Our site offers peace and quiet with dark skies and a large enclosed space which is mainly grass with a few hardstands and access to Netherton Burn and views over the fields where our 14 pet sheep and 24 chickens graze and get up to mischief\. We have an honesty box next to the gate offering free range eggs from our hens and hopefully seasonal fruit and veg\. There are social events held in the Village Hall and local pubs which we will post details on the site notice board\. In the future we will be introducing electric hook ups and wifi\. Thank you for looking\. This is a Certificated Site \(CS\)\. These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents\*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more\. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family\-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example\. \*Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland\. 1 acre, level\.
