And when the weather isn't so good and excellent range of indoor activities are close at hand\. Please see our 'Out and About' page for more information\.CampingOur thirteen acre southerly camping field has spectacular views over Weymouth Bay, the venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing events, and the rolling hills of the surrounding Dorset countryside\. There are two modern toilet blocks both with showers, hairdryer points, shaver points and washing\-up facilities\. The lower block also has disabled facilities and a laundry room\. There is a further separate laundry room next to the upper toilet block and shop\. The camp shop operates seasonally and is well stocked with basic provisions as well as camping essentials including gas and freezer packs\. We are licensed for 225 tents and welcome families/couples and coast path walkers only\. Whether you are first\-timers or seasoned campers we are sure that you will find our park the perfect place to explore, not only the treasures and beauty of the immediate area, but the wealth of attractions and things to do only a short distance away\.A non\-refundable deposit of £25 per tent, per week, is payable when booking subject to a three night minimum stay\.Pets are allowed in our camping area but must be kept on a lead at all times\.Minimum stay may apply during Bank Holidays and Peak season\.RidingOur British Horse Society approved riding school is situated in a picturesque setting overlooking a valley and lakes and caters for most abilities\. Whether you are a first time rider wanting a ½ hour lesson or an experienced rider, we can cater for most\. We are a Pony Club Centre whose objectives are to encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding, to give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate Members to look after and to take proper care of their animal, and to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self\-discipline\. The lake is approached through the riding stables and by following thetrack down the hill\. On arriving there are a variety of swims, the southside providing the deeper part of the lake whilst the island end providingshallower water ideal for surface fishing\. The lake provides coarse angling for all levels\. Whether it’s your first time fishing for Roach or you are a keen carper looking for your first 20 lb fish\. Naturally stocked with specimen Carp to nearly 30 lb, specimen Bream over 13 lb, Roach and Skimmer Bream\. When fishing for Carp a 36” landing net and unhooking mat are required and we would suggest a minimum of 12 lb line\. Best baits have proven to be tiger nut boillies and halibut pellets for the Carp, sweetcorn and worm for the Bream and sweetcorn and maggots for the Roach and Skimmers\. LATEST NEWS \- 29\.5lb Common caught \- a new lake recordMeadow LakeMeadow Lake extends over 2\.75 acres with two feature islands and hasbeen naturally stocked with fish from Wally’s Lake\.
