But the bathroom was clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. I had a fun ride around devils whip and part of blue ridge parkway. The view of stars at night was spectacular. He is a very kind host, and puts good effort into maintaining a great camp site. Him and his dogs were very hospitable and this site had just about everything a camper could need. Hot shower and clean bathhouse. The creek was really peaceful, the site is pretty private and though it is closer to a road, there isn’t a lot of traffic. So beautiful and relaxing to watch and listen to the creek. I stayed in a nice spot right on the creek with trees and picnic table. The bathroom/shower cabin-like building is a short walk and is very nice and rustic (in a good way). Hot water is plentiful and there is a fridge and microwave in the same building. David was very nice and helpful in getting me and my dogs settled. He also had great recommendations for what to do in the area.
