We have deer, wild turkey, bear, chipmunks, raccoons, wild rabbits, Whip\-poor\-wills, and opossums on the property\. Plus, the fireflies at night can be beautiful\! Plus, we've yet to see a mosquito\! You will be the only camper on the property, my RV is on site and is used as guest quarters when I have company, but this is rare\. There is no cell phone coverage and limited strength wifi, so unplug and relax\! The Camping Site is part of our mountainside property located in Long Hollow and sits on the edge of 7 acres of pasture, which leads to 7 acres of White Pine Forest you are welcome to use for walking, wildlife viewing, dog walking, etc\.\. It is conveniently located less than 2/10s a mile from Rt\. 16, and 5 miles from I\-81\. Our neighbors are quiet but you may hear their donkey braying or chickens clucking\. We ask that you do not disturb the neighbors or interact in any way with their animals\. There is a Firepit and Picnic Table for your use\. I try to keep a supply of firewood on hand which you are welcome to use, but if I run out you may have to get some wood elsewhere\. This was our second stay. So close off I-81. Since the weather cooperated this time we were really able to enjoy the property. Long walks through the meadow and into the woods where there was a lovely covered deck area to sit among the trees. The firepit was great and there was plenty of dry firewood available. We had a nice dinner at the picnic table. This hipcamp is a great place to have the dogs with us and enjoy the outdoors. So traffic was very light, 2 cars. We had FHU, table and fire pit. He offered all the firewood we could use. He also point out a path to the river with a tent site and fire pit we could use. Unfortunately, it was too late for us to take a walk, so we enjoyed the fire at our site and looked at the stars. Across the street is several animals to listen to, donkey, goats and chickens. Leveling was a problem for our 30’ motor home. The host had plenty of wood blocks to help, but we didn’t get level. Enjoyed our quite stay.
