It was all lovely - lying in listening to rain on the roof, lounging outside with cattle crowding curiously nearby, or setting off on adventure walks around the extensive property when it was sunny. It felt so remote, rural and peaceful - yet only an hour or so out from Brisbane. Not a lot of swimming areas but plenty of creek crossings to play in. Took our bikes and had a great time cycling along the dirt tracks.
