"Ash was an absolute delight to communicate with, and the camp is great! The fire pit makes it extra special. We took a 4x4 sprinter there, and loved it. Ash is so lovely, and it really is a great place -- you can see the surrounding area well, but it is so so quiet! Definitely recommend getting there in daylight and staying as long as you can to soak up the peace and views! We would absolutely stay again if in there area.\n\nThe one piece of advice that we have -- do NOT go past the sign that points to the camp, because it is a VERY steep hill after. (The Camp sign is on the left, pointing to the \"driveway\" on the right - if you go 100 yards past that sign that is where the hill is.) We accidentally drove past it, and had a dicey moment when turning around because the 4 wheel drive didn't quite hold on the steepness of the hill. That said, if we had been in a wrangler or other 4x4, it would have been fine.
