It truly is in a grove of aspens right up the hill from the host’s home. I was a week too early for the color change! I normally dry camp so I felt spoiled when the host ran both power and water to my camper. \n\nThe spot was quiet and convenient to Durango, the Million Dollar Highway, and Vallecito Reservoir. I spent most of my time exploring those areas.\n\nI was in a trailer and had to back up a steep hill to get to the spot. It was not difficult, and if I had failed, the host was there to help.
