The other campgrounds were completely booked.\n\nThe site had everything needed for primitive camping. \n\nEarlier reviews have expressed negative opinions and while there are some old wooden items scattered about, this did not affect our use of the site.\n\nA few pointers for future renters may be helpful:\n1. Water from the hose has some iron flavor, not surprising at the beach. This was perfectly adequate for showering, etc. We used bottled water for drinking.\n2. Mosquitos were plentiful as expected with low country summer camping. Bring bug repellent!\n3.
