Very friendly host, plenty of privacy too. Well water hookup, composting toilet for bathroom. Super close to Carolina Beach and many restaurants. Great long leaf pine needles everywhere.\nCons: the convenience of easy access to downtown and beach is due to being right of 421, and you hear it quite a lot. Loud cars and motorcycles and straight pipes seem to be abundant in Wilmington. However, we didn't spend much time in camp during the day, which was when this was the worst. I'm not sure if it's from the new Campground I'm at or from there, but there are no ants on this cement pad at this campground. Also, the water Smelled like rust. I didn't shower with it luckily I had water in my tank. The directions we're not good and it was a dangerous 55 mph section on a two-lane highway I had to literally pull off of to get to this property. It would have been nice to know that.
