Having electricity and a small fridge in the tent was awesome. The nearby firepit was perfect for s'mores. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. There are a lot of activity options on the ranch itself. I highly recommend the horseback lessons. I learned a lot about horse care, and I know I'll feel significantly more comfortable on any future trail rides having now practiced a more proper form while riding bareback during the lesson. The property is very dog friendly as advertised. We enjoyed having the large barn onsite as an option to hang out and get a wifi signal in order to check the weather and finalize any plans for the next day's adventure. If you are bringing a dog, and are looking to get in some easy/moderate hikes nearby, I recommend taking the Aspen Gondola (dogs ride free) to the Richmond Ridge Trail at the top, and/or Rifle Falls State Park (Coyote trail) in Glenwood Springs, and/or Avalanche Creek Trail (White River National Forest).
