I went into it just looking for an affordable, last-second place to stay where I could have peace of mind sleeping through the night. I ended up developing friendships and had shared experiences for 5 days. The owner of this land, Keith, is working with really great people, JP, Mary & family to make continuous improvements to the land. The place has a lot of potential with many projects in the works (chicken coop, kitchen, the long-term vegetation). Even while many of these things are in the budding stages, I would still recommend this Hipcamp — especially if looking for a peaceful place. For me, I kind of liked having the option of staying in my own space or also being able to interact under the beautiful community willow tree whenever. I went to visit the springs but my time at this amazing food forest was, by far, the highlight of trip. The property is a wonderland. You will enjoy discovering edible plants and watching butterflies dance in the food forest. The camping area is clean with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower and composting toilet. Truly a nature lover’s paradise. The best part, however, is the beautiful community and vibe of the people who live there. We even harvested food from the farm and shared a meal. Jai Jungle is great for people who want to get away from city life and connect with the earth.
