We were excited to see that it was secluded but was 10 to 15 mins away from shopping and other attractions like wine tasting and downtown Ellijay. Everyone was super friendly in the mountain resort and in town. In the resort there is plenty to do like tubing, fishing, hiking and there are 3 pools which one was an indoor pool! The staff was very friendly and informative. Also in the recreation center where the indoor pool is located there is also an small arcade a exercise facility and outside there is a Mini golf Putt Putt.so So there is plenty to do inside and outside of the resort. But the cabin had a few unique features that we really didn't need to leave like the master bedroom was equipped with a nice jacuzzi tub for 2 and a rain drop shower and downstairs there was a huge hot tub for 4 and the kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans and everything you need for home cooking and up in the loft there was a billiard table a poker table and musical instruments! And there were also DVD movies and board games. Downstairs in the garage there were several games like darts and such and also a bicycle if someone wanted to cycle. And outside there was a gorgeous fire pit that we definitely utilize! It was so comfortable and relaxing very peaceful we were only there a short time and we didn't want to leave! We will definitely visit again!
