Welcome to the Tri-Cities-Kennewick, Pasco and Richland, a high desert region, where nearly 300 sun-filled days offer visitors a year-round paradise. The average annual rainfall is less than seven inches and winter temperatures hover at the 44 degree mark. Snowfall is uncommon and Summer temps average a pleasant 88 degrees, with river breezes contributing to cool evenings and balmy days. The confluence of the Snake, Yakima and Columbia Rivers has produced an aquatic playground second to none. Recreation and sports enthusiasts love the Tri-Cities and the area offers something for everyone, due in part to the exceptional climate.
