My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers\. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60\-70's\. As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing\! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy\. A great spot to sky watch as well\! The property is not kid\-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults\. Wendi is hands down one of the most authentic and welcoming people I have ever met. She was extremely accommodating and easygoing throughout our entire stay and even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens to cook for breakfast. Not to mention that the heat wasn't even an issue as she has a creek right in her backyard that was so refreshing and fun, and Wendi was even kind enough to bring out an inner tube so we could make full use of the creek! The location is also ideal if you're looking to venture up to Kings Canyon National Park, the drive is only about 30 mins to the entrance and about an hour up the mountain depending on how far you go. And the entrance fee is about $35 for the entire week. Overall the trip was absolutely incredible, and it's extremely therapeutic to be surrounded by all of the animals on Wendi's land as well as the breathtaking nature.
