      "reviewBody": "This spot is quiet despite being near a road. Dan is very knowledgeable and offers good, dry firewood on-site. The sites are roomy, the outhouse clean and kept in supply. Outdoor shower was also perfect. "

      "reviewBody": "When we booked the site we were specifically looking for “electrical” hookup as the site description stated. After booking, we discover NO electrical hookup. When we contacted Dan, the host, he said we had to do everything online. Therefore, he was of no help getting our site switch to one with electric. There were no sites with electricity so we cancelled our reservation. We then discovered we don’t get a refund it is a “credit” towards our next trip. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service Dan provided!!! Would not recommend Hipcamp or staying with Dan ever!!!!!!!! "

      "reviewBody": "Dan greeted us upon arrival and was very accommodating showing us around to all the amenities. First of all, outdoor shower was amazing I would prefer it over any indoor shower. It was quiet and private, also the site was easy to find. Running potable water, solar powered charging station with lights, fire pit, level area to set up tents. There is a hill you have to climb up to get to the site but Dan provides you with a wagon to haul all of your gear which was super helpful."

      "reviewBody": "We loved our stay at Dan’s tent spot!  The site was spacious, private and so peaceful!  It was easy getting our gear up the short hill with his wagon.  The outdoor shower was AMAZING!!  The location was perfect for exploring, we had easy access to sleeping bear, crystal lake and Traverse.  Would definitely stay again if we make it back next summer.  Thanks so much for the hospitality and sharing your land with us Dan.  Oh, we also saw the biggest dandelion I’ve ever seen in my life while there too ☺️"
