      "reviewBody": "Nice spot on the river. Crystal clear water with no crocs. Perfect for a bathe. Close to road, but not much road noise through the night. Easy to cross to the sandy side, but with tent we opted for the bank nearest the roadside. All ground very uneven but we managed ok."

      "reviewBody": "For a free camp the bend has everything you need, the creek is lovely for a swim and if you drive across the creek and camp on the sand the sites are quite nice but you will be a looong walk from the toilets. \nThe bend gets very very busy and it’s first in best dressed so best to get there earlier in the day."

The river and everything else was nice and peaceful. We had no issues or problems with the local community. All locals we met were just good, helpful Aussies."

      "reviewBody": "Lovely spot to pull over for the night. The road side of the river was full of caravans so we crossed over the small creek (4x4 only) and camped on the riverbed. Could hear road traffic but there were very few cars or trucks in the night. \nNo facilities available. Fuel and groceries back at Coen if needed."

      "reviewBody": "Free camp just out of town. Plenty of space and very popular. Sand based ground so need sand pegs if tenting. Riverspots and shade if you arrive early enough otherwise grab whatever spot you can. Was a bit of toilet when we came through infhe sense of toilet paper everywhere as a result of people not burning or burying. Nice overnight spot otherwise. Water and dump spots in town."
