A beautiful drive thru the woods led us to a clearing at the top of a hill (where the water tanks were) where we set up camp. We were the only campers there during our stay so we had the place to ourselves, super nice.\n\nSamantha (and Carl) were super helpful, hospitable and friendly. We felt like we were visiting friends, minus the staying-in-the-guest-room experience.\n\nWe were able to have a campfire, which was permitted due to them current conditions. I wasnt necessarily planning to, so it was helpful to have access to so much firewood on site.\n\nWith 2 kids in tow, we weren't able to fully explore what the area had to offer, but when we come again, I'd make sure to bring bikes for the kids, ATV/dirt bikes if you have em (trails en route), some dog treats for the super friendly Buttercup, and [more] smores.\n\nLooking forward to staying there again!
