We stayed in contact the day of our arrival and they were very accommodating even though we arrived much later than planned. There were multiple spots on the property but we decided to camp near the creek with a little waterfall that was just a little bit of a hike down from where we parked our car. It was beautiful and private even though we weren’t actually that far from the farm. Getting to meet and pet all of the animals was so fun! I also got to bottle feed one of the baby goats. All of the animals have names and personalities and they are obviously well loved. Heidi and her husband were very friendly and came to check up on us to see if we needed anything and even gave us some fresh eggs. We spent some time getting to know them and learning about their land. They have a lot of exciting plans for the property including some cabins and glamping coming soon! They got our feedback about our site which was a primitive spot and were very caring and thoughtful of our experience. The weather was so nice with spring flowers and buds popping up everywhere. We decided to stay and hike on their property instead of going to the nearby park and there was a good amount to see. The property is BIG and we got a little turned around which added a couple more hours to our hike but that wasn’t a big deal to us.
