It was close to Stockton springs but still felt very private. The beach was about a 10 minute walk through forest and down some stairs, and we spent most of the afternoon there absolutely alone. The camp itself was clean and spacious, and the bed was pretty comfy. We would definitely stay again!! "

"reviewBody": "The site was clean and in order. The tent and surrounding area was nice for what we needed - a home base. If you are expecting a very private site this will not be the best location, but if you are okay with the occasional car driving by this site will work well for you. Overall a nice experience and within driving distance to a lot of cool places in Maine. The beach access was nice and a very quiet spot in the morning. "

"reviewBody": "This was the BEST Hipcamp stay we ever had!!!! Everything about it was perfect - we appreciated the tent, bathroom set up, fire pit, picnic table, and outdoor chairs. The setting is perfect, we had two dogs with us and it was private enough that we could let them off leash around the site. We were so cozy and content!! It unexpectedly rained one night from 3am-7am-ish (rain was NOT in the forecast) but we didn’t care because the tent kept us perfectly dry while we were sleeping. The tent even had some cute little extras in it like a little plastic storage bin and hanging cubes for extra organization. \nThen, the beach!!!! Oh my god, just amazing and perfect. It’s accurately described in the listing, there really is a bit of a hike through the woods to get there, but it wasn’t that long. It is very well marked as well, which we appreciated. \nWe loved it so much we booked to go back in a week and a half!! Lol"
