Tristan greeted us and helped us get situated. Our tent spot was perfect, shaded most of the day. Depending on where you set up, your vehicle will be in the shade as well. We were looking for a simple place to camp while going to the Newport Folk fest and local beaches. Everything you need for food and fuel is close by and more affordable than across the bridge. We weren't there to hang out, but the birds singing in the morning were sweet. We were in a tent, so we noticed a little road noise that faded as it got darker. We were prepared with our own water and camp toilet which Tristan very clearly communicated to us about. He isc really helpful and sincere host.
