Amongst the pets in our petting area are Ant and Dec, born in Shropshire and came to Meadow Lakes in 2004\. They are Saanen goats and are extremely friendly\. Billy Pygmy GoatMenace is a Billy Pygmy Goat and is also very friendly and enjoys his neck being rubbed\. Menace is unusual in the fact that he is a very fussy eater\! He came to Meadow Lakes in 2005\. DonkeysKingpin \(the brown donkey\) and Zentor came to Meadow Lakes from a donkey sanctuary in 2001 at a young age\. They are very friendly and laid back and love attention\. You may see them playing together and although this looks quite rough at times it is perfectly normal donkey behaviour\!Donkeys can live up to 40 years of age so Kingpin and Zentor are still very young\. Shetland PonyJimmy is a Shetland Pony and came to Meadow Lakes in 2006\. We think he is around 45 years old now, as originally he was owned by a local lady who had him for around 30 years, he has now made himself at home and is lifelong friends with Kingpin and Zentor\. Jimmy is quite a character and will always try to plead that he is starving\! His coat is extremely thick and is designed to endure extreme cold weather and this is why you will see Jimmy outside munching grass in all weathers\! Harlequin Lionhead RabbitsLucy and Danielle are sisters and came to Meadow Lakes in 2010\. They were 12 weeks old and had been taken back to the pet shop unwanted \. A member of our staff saw their plight and here they are\! ChickensRoaming around, you will see our chickens who are also very friendly\. CatsWe have various cats around the park\. Most of them are black or black and white\.
