Just a few steps outside of the hut is a beautiful \(one of a kind\) outhouse with lights, power outlets, and a heat lamp if need be\. A little ways down from the hut you will find a table with antique wagon wheels and seating for enjoying a meal or just taking in the views \. The property is \.57 acres in an L shape\. It has many trees consisting of spruce, ponderosa, and aspens\. The plot sits right at 9000 feet above sea level\. There are great Mountain View’s and lots of Quiet\. There’s a eiling fan, space heater, shades to keep out the morning light, a TV with DVD player, microwave, mini fridge, dishes/cookware, coffee maker, kettle, hot plate, outlets both indoors and outdoors, etc. There was a stake in the ground to keep our pup tied up and even a heating bulb in the ceiling of the outhouse for chilly nights. We enjoyed our weekend in this cozy shed. The only constructive feedback I have is that the property isn’t quite as remote/secluded as I’d expected from the photos. There’s two houses within eyeshot, a chicken coop across the road (complete with resident rooster), barking dogs, and some hollering kids. So if you don’t need total wilderness-type quiet and absolute privacy, you’ll be happy with the location. Overall, it was a good value for an inexpensive stay.\n\nNote: There is a little cooker on the property that another guest gifted to the property and there are tongs to use with it.
