About this space
Lost Creek is a sweet tent-only campground with 16 first-come, first-served sites set in a thinly covered pine pole forest just four miles from Crater Lake's rim. This campground really puts you on the primitive side of nature, amid the magic of Crater Lake’s contours, yet you’ll still find picnic tables, food lockers and access to restrooms.

Its best to go in August or September so that after a long hike you will actually want to jump into the arctic like waters of crater lake.
Mid-summer: get there early if you don’t have a reservation..or even if you do so you can snag a nice spot to come back to after a day of hiking around the park.
