About this campground

For further information about this park, Click here. If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park. DAY USE FEE: $5 per day, per person 13 and older. CHECK IN: All campers, Bunkhouse guests, and visitors to Big Bend Ranch State Park are required to check in at Fort Leaton State Historic Site or Barton Warnock Visitor Center. Visitor Center hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm; the park itself does not close. If you are arriving after hours, please call Barton Warnock (432) 424-3327 or Fort Leaton (432) 229-3613 prior to arrival for instructions.

If you arrive after dark and are unfamiliar with the park road system or the location of your campsite, you may camp at the Botella Junction late arrival area and call a Visitor Center in the morning. LIMITED SERVICES: There is no reliable cell signal in the park and you should not use GPS to navigate directly to your campsite. Orientation maps are available 24/7 outside of each Visitor Center. Always orient yourself before driving into the park. No fuel is available in the park. Showers, restrooms, and ice are available 24/7 at the Sauceda Ranger Station.
