Each pitch has a firepit for barbecues, and there is access to composting toilets, a shower block with warm water, and fresh drinking water\. Please note there is no electricity on this simple site\. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the camping field, but parking is provided a stone’s throw away\. Wheelbarrows are provided to help you get your kit from car to tent\. Countryside walks and cycle paths lead directly from your pitch\. There are several pubs in the local area – the nearest being 10 minutes’ stroll away\. We have a tea room on site, open Thursday \- Sunday 10am\-3pm\. Also, Westbourne Cafe had great service and food, which was also easy to reach via cycling, en route to Emsworth harbour.\n\nJosie provided excellent comms. and the site had good “unplugged” facilities. There was a very short walk to the main house which was well worth a visit for their food and friendly service serving great coffee, light lunch and teas with impressive cakes.\n\nThe only suggestion we would offer is to install a standing platform at the two highly mounted deep sinks as, even as adults, we struggled to reach into them. Having one double sink for washing dishes and washing/shaving/teeth cleaning when the site is busier would likely be rather tricky.\n\nOverall a very peaceful stay in a well-located site. The sites were well kept, spacious and far enough from your neighbour you have some privacy. The facilities were amazingly clean and well stocked, with the added bonus of being sustainable. There is a pub and a tea room within walking distance. The scenery is beautiful, and at night all you can hear are camp fires and sheep. A beautiful site and we will absolutely book again.
