The shepherds hut was so cozy. We loved the wood burner inside as well as making a fire outside. We roasted marshmallows and this a ghost story 🙂 The kids would go out and play with the animals every morning before breakfast. The hut was provided with marshmallows, biscuits, bread, cacao powder for making hot chocolate, bread, marmalade, butter and more. We watched the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning. We took a walk along the canal and helped a boater close a water lock behind him. The place was decorated beautifully and we played boardgames before bed at the little table with the radio playing quietly in the background. The lack of internet really was a bonus! We loved the whole experience!
