A very nice campsite the problem we had was with the owner an elderly bow legged gentleman who was really rather rude. When we first arrived we were a bit lost as it’s not very clear on the map where the non electric hook up spots are we drove up and down the field adhering to the 5mph speed limit and then drove out on to the lane to see if it was maybe another field. He came up to our car and proceeded to scream at us what is the speed limit what is the speed limit? Not you appear to be lost can I help you! During our stay several other vehicles were in and out of the field going at least 20mph yet nothing was said to these people? Later on that evening around 10.40 we were playing classical music on a very low level and talking quietly when this gentleman came over and yet again shouted at us that music should be turned off at 10.30 if they are the rules of the campsite fair enough so we did but probably continued to talk until about 12.30 as it was a Friday night and we are not 80! The next day we got talking to some of our fellow camp mates who were in a large group at the bottom of the field and apologised if we had disturbed them the previous night they said they had heard nothing from us and we had not. Later on that day the elderly rude bow legged gentleman came over to us and yet again shouted at us like naughty little children that we had been too noisy in the night and disturbed everyone until 2am??
