Nearby is Lincolnshire Showground, Newark antique fair and Swinderby boot sale, for the history seekers there is the Battle of Britain Memorial Centre, the newly opened Lincoln Castle, the chance to view the "Magna Carter" and not least, the majestic and world renowned "Lincoln Cathedral " \(that can be seen as you drive out of our village\) around which the Christmas fair takes place every year\.
