Pays du The lake with its 4 800 hectares of forests: all the pleasures of water sports can be found here as well as activities on land and the breathtaking spectacle of the grey cranes in November. But also a rich cultural heritage: timber-framed architecture and 16th century church windows, the tourist centre of the stud farm and abbey church in Montier-en-Der... and in November the migration of the ash-coloured cranes and "the international festival of the Animalière and suitable photos".
