Two adults and three children camping (boys aged 7,9,12).\nClean showers and toilets, friendly staff there at check in. They make pizzas on site and you can order breakfast too. 5 minutes walk to the sea - and views of passing boats from the camping field. About 5 minutes walk in the other direction there’s the play area and beach cafe. Campfires allowed and no dogs which we prefer. \nWe went to Isle of Wight for the day which was fabulous and very pretty. Last time we visited Calshot activity centre and the boys went on the ski slope and Bealieu is nearby too. this time we just did the iow trip as they enjoy looking for stones on the beach and played football/it with the other children on the camping field.\n\nLots of families here. This is a very busy campsite and while I accept that sites do get busy there was a suggestion of '20' pitches being available for booking however there was in excess of 50 tents booked in over the week so meant it was not what we expected. I was charged an additional £20 (£5 per night) for having used a trailer. This information was not shared prior to arrival and is nowhere to be seen on booking. The reasoning was that it takes up space but this is negligible when compared to that of an awning. The website said 'no trailer tents' but there were trailer tents on site. The website said no all male groups yet there were all male groups.
