This campground is located on the Flying J Farm, a sustainable farm where we practice regenerative agriculture growing grass\-fed, grass\-finished beef, maple syrup, and vegetables, chemical free, no antibiotics, and no hormones\. The proprietor is Richard Jensen, a former pilot, professor, writer, and editor, now enjoying retirement as a farmer\. Farm products are available to campers for purchase\. The land is described as "250 acres of rolling hills with a lake, a pond and three streams\." The road to the campsite runs through pastures so campers may need to open AND CLOSE gates so the cows don't get out, on your way to the campsite\. The camping area is located near our developing perennial food forest where we have started fruit trees, nut trees, and berries\. A garden of annuals including herbs and flowers is located near the area as well\. Farmer Richard Jensen is pleased to offer a short talk and discussion about finding health through food, protecting the environment, and alternative energy as practiced at our farm\.
