residential area with houses on each side, there were lots of trees and it was very quiet. There is a large gazebo with a fire pit and plenty of chopped firewood. \nIt's a great location if you're interested in hiking. Less than a 30-minute drive away is the Olympic National Park. \nThere are two lakes nearby. We love to kayak and Lake Kokanee was perfect--no motorized boats allowed. \nWe didn't have internet service so it was a true get-away.
