About this campground
This tiny house sits proudly on a grapevine nursery high above the Kāpiti Coast just an hour north of Wellington. Nestled beside olive trees and overlooking the ocean to Kāpiti Island. It creates a desirable setting for you to relax in privacy, tranquility and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Wake in the morning to the sunshine twinkling on the sea – and the beautiful chorus of birdsong. Your journey to the property starts with a scenic drive up the Kāpiti Coast. The Kāpiti Coast’s natural beauty is breathtaking – and there is so much to see, do and experience! The walk up to the PurePod guides you through ‘The Gully’.

The Gully is an integral part of this farm, as it features a beautiful spring-fed, clear stream. As you walk through The Gully keep an eye out for the native rātā, kōwhai and pōhutukawa trees. In the evening Kererū, North Island tomtit, kaka, tui, and fantail birds fly off Kāpiti Island over The Gully to the hills behind your PurePod. The Gully is now in the process of being fenced off, de-stocked, and returned to native bush. This work is key to fostering the biodiversity in native flora and fauna and enabling you to enjoy this beautiful space. Privacy is assured here. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by birdsong and captivating natural scenery that make total relaxation a compelling prospect! With no one nearby, you can sit back, relax and soak in the views and spectacular sunsets. The PurePod has all the facilities you require including a fabulous shower, flush toilet, crisp linen, cooking and eating equipment including a gas hob and barbeque, tea coffee and milk; as well as an assortment of games, local reference books, and a telescope. So sit back, relax in the luxury camp chairs out on the deck, or laze in the super comfortable bed and watch nature put on a show.
