We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm\. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity\. Ours is a working farm that the two of us \(not young folks\) manage on our own\. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy\. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around\. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings\. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas\. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy\. Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December \- weather dependant\. Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate\. Firewood is available for purchase\. We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night\. Must be booked through Extras\. Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea\. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them\. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane\. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township\.
