There were so many thoughtful touches with welcome baskets in the room and for the sauna and all the flowers and outdoor furniture was set and ready with comfy cushions. We came on a rainy weekend but we were cozy and warm and loved the convenience of so many wonderful hikes and great food nearby. we used the Division 1 park for a nice hot shower as well. Great view on top of the Hood Canal. This spot is not to be missed! We booked 2 A-frame cabins for the weekend and they were absolutely adorable and so clean!! Lezli thought of everything for her guests - she provided water, cooking utensils, hand washing station, blankets, heaters, snacks, firewood, chairs, dog treats, dog towel…the list goes on! She even plans to install an outdoor shower which would be a bonus for the sauna and summertime hiking :) My partner and I packed all our camping stuff (just in case) but we didn’t need any of it. She only books one large group at a time which in my opinion really made experience. It was private, quiet, and so incredibly peaceful! Lezli also met us at the bottom of mountain and drove took us up a dirt/gravel road for about 3.5 miles. It is definitely easily accessible with AWD and would probably be fine with a sedan. \n\nI would highly recommend Lezli’s property! If you're looking for a remote, beautiful cabin then this is your place. Our family LOVED our weekend at Lezli's place. We played lots of cornhole, board games, SUP on Lake Cushman and just relaxing, taking in the views. The main cottage is really well appointed. Very comfortable living room area and dining area. Beautiful outdoor spaces abound (seriously like 5 different areas outside to hang out). There's an amazing three bunk bed cabin that the kids loved. Great bedroom off the main cabin and a super beautiful separate cabin with a king bed and amazing views of the forest. There's also an outdoor kitchen area that worked great for prepping meals and cleaning up.
