About this campground
This is a campsite located on the slopes of Mt. Ontake at an altitude of 1,557m, utilizing the ski slopes of Kaida Kogen Mia Ski Resort. Kaida Kogen was introduced last summer as the coolest place in Japan, and it is a famous spot for stargazing, said to be ideal for photographing the Milky Way with Mt. Ontake in the background. The site offers spectacular views of Mt. Ontake, Mt. Norikura, and the Central Alps Mt. Komagatake. Kaida Kogen is full of nature, with clean water and air flowing from Mt.
