incredible weekend at Eagle's Nest! The view is amazing, best campsite view we have ever had! Very convenient location for Cherokee & Maggie Valley. We had great service, beware of the wind up there! This spot is secluded, but feels very safe, and great for dogs. Use Google Maps with the address (and directions) that are provided by the host, we had no trouble finding it, but the roads are definitely steep. Had no trouble getting up there with my 2WD 4Runner. We recommend booking site 2 at this property. There is no running water bathroom, it is an outhouse. We had the absolute best time, and will definitely be back. The pictures truly don't do it justice, if you're looking for a spectacular primitive campsite with a view, look no further! Thank you for sharing this spot with us, perfect place to get engaged! The sites were not clearly labeled - a map of the area would be very helpful. On top of that, the tent platform by the creek (site 6) that we were on had broken steps on both sides, making it hard to get up and down.\n\nThe worst part, though, was the fact that another group camping in the site next to us had their music up loud all day and night. We even asked them to turn it down, to no avail. Even with the river noise, you could still hear it. I reached out to the property owner with no response. Still no response about it several days later.
