화성도시공사에서 운영하는 화성시 매송 오토캠핑장은 칠보산 등산로 입구와 가깝다. 바로 앞에 어천저수지가 펼쳐져 있어, 등산이나 낚시를 즐기는 경우에 최적의 캠핑장이다. 봄에는 저수지 둘레로 벚꽃이 만개하여 아름다운 뷰를 가까이에서 즐길 수 있다. 총 25개의 사이트가 있고, 사이트에 바로 주차가 가능하며, 별도의 주차장은 없다. 공공 캠핑장이라서 저렴한 가격으로 1박은 물론 당일 이용도 가능한데, 당일 피크닉 캠핑은 예약이 안된 사이트에 대해서 당일 유선으로 신청 후 이용 가능하다.
