Outhouses (toilets) were disgusting, showers were advertised to be hot and cold but they were freezing. The campsites are a little close for comfort and apparently no rules or even decency for camping neighbors is a thing there. My bf and I were there from Thursday to Sunday, so we had PLENTY of time to experience this place. Only host that seem to be super helpful was an older gentleman at check in (can’t remember his name sorry). Our closest outhouse was decent until a party or 20 people or so booked a tent next to our campsite and partied until 2 in the morning screaming their lungs out and blowing up balloons with their loud nos tanks to get high. The destroyed the outhouse. The showers weren’t like they advertised and when we asked for help regarding them one host, Matt, mentioned that he didn’t know how to fix it and usually the others did but it was never fixed. Again, save your money, go elsewhere. Hot springs was a hell of an experience but an extremely strenuous hike. All just to reach a spot that you thought would be beautiful but is filled with naked, drunk, high, and dirty people. Trash and glass everywhere. I asked if my dog was allowed in the water and was told no by the host because I had to imagine how other hot springers would feel and to pretend it was a spa, the water would have to be drained. But after seeing what people did in those waters, I’m glad we stayed out and kept our dog away. A couple things to make your trip better\n- there are showers and next to the showers you can find potable water to fill your bottles.\n- technically you can drink the hot spring water from the source and cool it in the stream but we eanted to bring our own water. You will sweat a lot and tey to bring at least 1 gallon of water per person for the round trip to the hot springs\n- potable water and shower water is control with a main valve. We only lifted the valve half way up and thought there was no water left. The site itself I thought was overpriced for the actual experience. The communication was very much lacking with the host which I was also disappointed in. Overall, the campsite was really cool and the hot springs were amazing. We also met some really chill people at the campsite, but the overall experience with the host and what was advertised could have been a lot better.
