It was very isolated and peaceful." }, { "@type": "Review", "author": { "@type": "Person", "name": "Stephen C." }, "datePublished": "September 21, 2025", "reviewBody": "So first and for most I don't do reviews but due to the response of the owner I felt wepp there's a f first time for everything well basically first and foremost we got backtracked by going down some road which was I mean my son's never been over landing I'd say it was a little bit more difficult for two wheel drive to go through it took us a very long time to get through it and to get back now mind you he enjoyed it and had a great time but the way the maps showed the entrance of the facility it was wrong secondly we got on to the other road and it took us another hour to get to the actual spot when we get to the spot it look like nobody's been there and I understand I mean we're in the wilderness but it look like nobody's been there for a while there was rat poop every single where I mean if I was a the guy selling a place for people to go to I'd go check it inspect it before I got there I got there there was a lot of the they have like decorations they're all on the ground fall fall in and you know just rat poop on rat poop on rat poop on rat poop it was disgusting my son was disgusted I was disgusted so not only did we get you know backtracked and spend all this money on gas things were right and then you know I go to the place it was disgusting so when I explained this to the gentleman Jimmy I said I just I'm going to go ahead and go home we didn't even stay one night I was going to go he said I understand and that's it" }, { "@type": "Review", "author": { "@type": "Person", "name": "Luke M." }, "datePublished": "October 5, 2025", "reviewBody": "It's a very cool place. The road to get there is doable, but it's quite a ways down a rough road. If you're going to camp and planning on staying at camp for a while I would highly recommend it. It’s also a perfect spot for stargazing.\nOn the site is a cozy half shed filled with all kinds of cool antique art, giving lots of personality to the place. There is also a big metal boxed filled with A LOT more supplies than we expected, including a grill, propane cans, fire starters, utensils, etc. \nThere is also a sink to the shed connected to a large plastic container full of water as well as a toilet and refillable shower. \nIt’s very easy to find the site and Google Maps will lead you right to it. However, the road to the site is quite rough and bumpy on the way there so I would highly recommend driving through it with a high clearance vehicle. \nThere is also some cell signal there but it’s only enough to send texts and streaming some music, which was good enough for us. \nMr. Jimmy was also a great host. He was very responsive and helpful.
