The toilets and showers are centrally heated and there are also chemical disposal points and drinking water points around the site\. Pets are allowed and rallies welcome\. We also have 10 Camping Pods, for those who enjoy 'glamping' \- all the fun of camping but without the hassle\. These solidly built timber Pods have heaters, light, electric points, a window, lockable doors and are insulated with Cumbrian sheep's wool, so that they really are a year round option\.Five self\-catering cottages are also available to let\. Nearby AttractionsHillcrest Park is just outside the village of Caldwell and it's friendly pub, The Brownlow Arms, and is situated in the heart of the northernmost of the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale\. It is only 10mins from the pretty market town of Barnard Castle and the beautiful Bowes Museum and is close to High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle and a host of other Dales attractions\. It is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and largely undiscovered area\. Teesdale, with its pretty little villages, enjoys a reputation of being the most natural of the Dales and is part of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\. For the younger members of the party, Lightwater Valley theme park and Beamish Open Air Museum can be reached within 40 minutes\.
