The stairs at the top broke on me as I was walking down, and it is a mudslide down to the deck, making it very difficult to get things like an esky, swag gazebo etc down. Leeches as well. Credit where it’s due, it is an extremely beautiful spot, very remote as well, but at the end of the day it’s a rainforest, so there is no dry wood for a campfire, and the fire area was unavailable due to large tree branches being piled directly next to it. It definitely didn’t help that we went when it was pouring with rain, so I’m sure it’s very nice during drier seasons, but definitely not when there’s been any previous rain - or if it’s currently raining.
