      "reviewBody": "Loved the serenity and solitude of camping in the remote bushland by the river. As a solo female camper it was wonderful to feel safe and not be surrounded by other campers and also have the company of my dogs. Come prepared for the cold if camping in winter and be fully self contained and definitely need a 4wd to access the site down the steep track. Plenty of wood to collect to keep warm by the fire. Large flat area to choose to set up camp. The host, Brett was very helpful when I arrived late, just on dark and luckily was able to get enough mobile reception at front gate to contact. I really enjoyed exploring the area and loved the historic village of Taralga.  My only regret was only being able to stay 1 night and would definitely like to book  a longer stay to really enjoy the beautiful Abercrombie River, bushwalks and magnificent views and seclusion in nature. Highly recommend. "

      "reviewBody": "This spot is secluded and relaxing. Once we left Oberon we did not see anyone until we returned to Oberon a few days later. A 4WD is a must."

      "reviewBody": "Had a great time staying at 'The Hermitage'. Beautiful and tranquil scenery and really enjoyed walking around the property with my dog, Charlie. It was a tad cold to jump in the river but Charlie thought otherwise!\nReally nice views further up the hill. Will stay again."
