Situated on the Heritage Coast in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, we have been welcoming camping guests for the past 15 years\. Open from 1 April – 31 Oct, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the undulating Glamorgan Hills and the sparkling Bristol Channel from our secluded site\. We promise a serene, relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of every life, with our focus being to create a peaceful environment for everyone where guests can unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the additional extras we offer\. We invite guests to enjoy our two paddocks of soft, level grass which are home to a limited number of electrical pitches and thirty pitches for tents and campervans \- unfortunately, we cannot accommodate caravans\. We also appreciate your help and understanding in helping us to maintain this tranquil setting so we do not take bookings for stag/hen parties or group bookings of more then seven adults\. On site amenities include ladies and gents blocks with two toilets, two showers, two sinks and a hand dryer, plus a hair dryer in the ladies\. Disabled bathroom facilities, a utility room with two basins \(and hot water\) plus a freezer for are also on site\. \* Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times\. LOCAL AREA: Teddy’s Bar, open Friday to Sunday mid day\. Cosy and welcoming with a Log Fire ideal in inclement weather or on summer evenings relax on the patio enjoying evening drinks and nibbles, Breakfast served Saturday and Sunday 8,30 to 10\.30 local produce with Vegetarian options and properly\-sized coffees/hot drinks as well as a well\-stocked Bar and Wine list\. A selection of Tourist information Choice of excellent local Pubs serving evening meals in Monknash and Wick, 300 yards from the campsite our local pub with live music at weekends\. Our local Town, Llantwit Major \(10 min drive\) offers a selection of independent shops and supermarkets\. The village shop is within walking distance of the Campsite\. Before booking, please note the mobile phone charge £1, only firepits/BBQ hired from the Campsite to be used on site other than your own GAS appliances\. Electric pitches are not designed or charged for Electric Vehicle filling\. The staff are always really lovely, nothing is to much to ask. The owners are lovely and always come around the site to ask how you are.\nFacilities are clean, bar and food is good. Portable toilets were disgusting the smell was unbearable and impossible for me to use, I had to trek through the campsite to the main toilets. Cafe was lovely and staff in there were pleasant.
