      "reviewBody": "Well thought out and generously sized pitches, each encircled with wild flowers and a fire pit. Recycling is strongly encouraged, with facilities to do so (incl. somewhere to put food scraps, which was great), information about the local wildlife and how to encourage wildlife into your own garden with ideas on bug houses etc., aimed at kids. The washroom facilities were brilliant and included bathrooms for families or those who like more privacy (one included a bath), individual showers and plenty of loos, all of which, were very clean. \nReception stocked eco skincare products (suncream, shower gel) if needed. There is a communal fridge freezer, where you could also charge your phone. Cars were left on the carpark, and belongings ferried across using a wheelbarrow (there were plenty available), which made it a lot more peaceful. It's only a very short distance to travel, manageable without a barrow. We took a nighttime walk around Ely, but didn't get chance to explore in the daytime as we'd planned our time ahead of visiting. Cambridge is just over half an hour's drive away, with the wonderful Fitzwilliam museum and art gallery and Kettle's Yard. Sicilian café, Aromi, also in Cambridge, does the most delicious food and creamiest ice-cream. Blakeney and Cley are around an hour and quarter drive. All beautiful places and well worth the trip. Mad Hatters provided a great base to explore the locale or further afield. "

      "reviewBody": "What an absolute gem of a campsite. Clearly a site made for campers by campers. The facilities are excellent but don't detract from the natural beauty of the site. Clean (and plentiful) showers (bathrooms!) and toilets, somewhere to refreeze your freezer blocks and a charging station - perfect. The pitches are wonderful. They are generous in size and the high daisies work so well, they certainly aren't just a gimmick. The site team are really helpful, ever present and never over bearing. There is a real push to sustainability with excellent recycling facilities. The theme is lovely and there are activities for kids. The drainage museum is a must especially the last Sunday in the month when they have engines running. Only slight minus is the nearest pub is a little far but you'll want to sit and soak in the sunset anyway."

      "reviewBody": "Amazingly peaceful wild flower meadow area. Shower facilities are excellent with private individual rooms including one with a bath. The owner promotes recycling with compost bins and good separation facilities. Live that you can have open fires and well priced seasoned logs for sale. Bob and Lesley, who manage the site, are extremely accommodating and helpful. I will definitely be going again and recommending to my friends"
