Our heated Snow globe Dome is the perfect observatory during snow fall\. Wildlife abounds, whether near the river, fields or mountain\- spot a deer, rabbit, turkey or turtle\. This region is also home to less friendly creatures like snakes and bears\. Guests should be wise to prepare for bugs\. Specially in the summer, there might be outbursts of flys, ticks & mosquitoes\. Repellent is a must for a comfortable stay\. Located on the DBBB \(Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway\) into off\-roading, bring your 4x4 & take a trek on the scenic route or a walk down Newfound rd & cross the river on 1 of Clay counties historical swinging bridges\. Experienced hikers can trek 600 ft in elevation up to Pilot Rock which sits over 1300 ft above sea level on the back side of our mountain\. Unwind & relax one of our riverside treetop tents or hammocks\. We also offer a close and personal river encounter, on a floating tent featuring an SUP floor\. In the Winter you will enjoy the mountain in its winter wonderland\. Use our heated Snow Globe Dome to do your morning stretches or enjoy a meal\.
