This campground offers a spacious and peaceful retreat with well-maintained sites and plenty of shade, making it ideal for families and nature enthusiasts. While the campground is run by the Corp of Engineers and features a well-marked hiking trail, it does have some limitations, such as only one shower house for many sites and poor cell service. Campers appreciate the level areas for biking and the overall cleanliness, but some may find the distance between sites a bit isolating.
